Kurt Lehnortt, Executive Director - Kurt's responsibilities include overall management of the ODC including client service, staff supervision and development, and compliance with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. Lehnortt is required to accomplish this work in ways compatible with and supportive of the organization's mission and strategic objectives as established by the Board of Directors. He has a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in Communication from Clarion University. His previous employment includes working as a Training Director for a drug and alcohol center for delinquent teenagers and working as a Residential Director of a Brain Injury Residential Program. He is a disabled veteran who served for five years as a paratrooper with the Army's 18th Airborne Corps.
Contact: kurtl@odcenter.orgGregg Richards, Senior Program Specialist - Gregg's responsibilities include the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans, coordination of services, supervision of Center employees, and the overall development of the programming department. Gregg received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from East Stroudsburg University. Gregg has been involved in the developmental disabilities field since 1992 and has previously worked as a residential support professional, a special education teacher, a team leader in an adult day re-habilitation facility and a crisis prevention and intervention instructor. Gregg enjoys playing music and has recorded several songs with clients over the years including, Life is Beautiful, with lyrics written and performed by a client on his Dynavox.

Cheryl Kmiecik, Public Relations & Development Manager - Cheryl's responsibility is to increase the visibility of ODC by developing and maintaining working relationships with businesses and organizing fundraisers and special events, grant writing, and being an advocate for the ODC. She serves as a member of the ODC Safety, Health & Wellness Committee, Lancaster AMBUCS, as well as the Council for Volunteer Coordinators. Cheryl earned her bachelor's degree from Millersville University in Communications and has three minors in Sports Nutrition, Athletic Coaching, and Studio Art. She attended Harrisburg Area Community College for her R.N, as well as attended York College for her Nursing Home Administrator's license. Cheryl is returning back to school in 2011 for her clinical esthetician license. Previous employment includes working as a restorative specialist at Conestoga View and as Safety Director & Residential Advisor at Acadia, Inc., a brain injury facility. Kmiecik is also the owner of Charity Body Products.

Shelly Laity, Program Specialist - Shelly's responsibilities include coordinating and supervising the training and development of the Center employees, overseeing development and implementation of program services and ensuring health and safety. She continues to be actively involved in the design and creation of adaptive equipment for the Center's employees. Shelly received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kutztown University. She has been employed with ODC since 2001 as a program supervisor.

Melissa Sandrock, Program Specialist - Melissa's responsibilities include coordinating and supervising the training and development of the Center employees, overseeing development and implementation of program services and ensuring health and safety. She received her Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Gerontology from Messiah College. Previous employment includes work as a Care Manager at the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. Melissa is also a board member and the Volunteer Director for Life Unchained, a nonprofit organization that funds dream projects within the community.

Audrey Magnon, Production Manager - Audrey's responsibilities are to coordinate the production process; maintain, follow up and evaluate potential jobs; maintain a safe work environment; training and development of Center employees. Audrey has been with ODC for 20 years and has primarily worked in the Mail Room supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
