2008- 2009 ODC Recycling Drive - Support our on-going cell-phone & ink jet cartridge recycling drive at ODC. The Center will receive money for every cell-phone, DVD movie, and DVD video-game donated, working or not!  In addition to accepting & recycling cell phones, ink jet cartridges, and DVD's, the company we partnered with will also accept portable DVD players, laptop computers, MP3 players, X-Box systems, Sony Play Stations, digital cameras, GPS devices and more.  There is a drop-box located in the ODC Public Relations Office.  You can also request a tax deductible donation acknowledgement letter for your recycling donation.

  • UNITED WAY DAY OF CARING 2008 - Saturday, September 6, 2008.  The ODC is a participating facility of this event.  For more information, visit the Volunteer Solution Website at www.volunteersolutions.org/lancaster

  • ODC Auxiliary Luncheon - Monday, September 15, 2008.  The ODC Auxiliary will be hosting its annual luncheon and card party at the Lexington Ballroom at the Heritage Hotel, Centerville Road.  The cost is $25.00 per person, and registration starts at 11:00am.  Please contact Sally Kauffman at (717) 898-8637 for more information. 

  • HCQU Self Advocacy Day - Wednesday, October 1, 2008.  The Advocacy Alliance Health Care Quality Unit of Lancaster County is hosting a day of training from 9am-2:30pm at East Petersburg Mennonite Church for adults with developmental disabilities, family members, advocates, and provider staff.  For more information, please contact the South Central HCQU at (717) 835-2270.

  • ODC Auxiliary Theater Event - Thursday, October 2, 2008.  The ODC Auxiliary will be selling tickets for the production Barefoot In The Park at Rainbow Dinner Theater.  The cost of the dinner and show is $35.00 per person.  The lunch starts at 11:30am, and the show starts at 1:00pm.  For more information, please contact Linda Gundy at (717) 898-7454.
